A Conversation with the LORD
A Conversation with the LORD | |
The Lord: | “Come My child to our quiet place Open Your soul, all anxiety’s erased. True worship arises from deep within A guileless heart’s the key, enter in.” |
The Child: | “How do I worship One so grand? How do I receive from Your mighty hand? Touching the heavens with cries of love Looking always to You, My Father above.” |
The Lord: | “You’ve busied yourself with many tasks But deep communion is what I ask. Put aside the trying, be content to rest In this place of unity, is My request.” |
The Child: | “My spirit is willing; You’re my heart’s desire. Help me to focus; set me on fire. May the draw of the world have no effect On my time with You, not to neglect.” |
The Lord: | “Give Me your heart without reservations. Abandon yourself to Me, in all situations. Abide in My goodness, mercy, and love, Is the worship, My child, I speak of.” |
The Child: | “Teach me Your ways that we may be one. Transform my soul into the image of the Son. That the world may see You, My Lord Through my yielded vessel, my heart implores.” |
The Lord: | “Lean on Me and be content. Cease all striving; be quick to repent. Ascend with Me to the Kingdom’s high ground Through the doors of worship; what a glorious sound.” |
“Our hearts in tune in deep harmony Our thoughts in-sync in perfect unity Revival now stirs deep in your heart My Life in you to the world do impart.” |
