A Christmas Blessing
“But thank God! He has made us his captives and continues to lead us along in Christ’s triumphal procession. Now he uses us to spread the knowledge of Christ everywhere, like a sweet perfume. Our lives are a Christ-like fragrance rising up to God. But this fragrance is perceived differently by those who are being saved and by those who are perishing. … But to those who are being saved, we are a life-giving perfume,” 2 Corinthians 2:14-16 NLT.
As I sit here meditating on the goodness of the Lord, I am aware of the different aromas that fill my home. The smell of the cookies and pies as they bake permeate every corner of the house. By the great design of our Creator, He made us able to enjoy these sweet aromas.
I now consider the sweet fragrance of HIS presence. We are to be like perfume vials carrying the essence of HIS aroma wherever we go. We are to release it into the atmosphere through our words and our actions. We are to take every opportunity to bless and to speak words of comfort and life into all those HE sends us to or sends to us.
It is my privilege to release a blessing upon you this day.
Beloved One,
May the sweet fragrance of HIS presence surround you this day. May HIS peace and comfort touch your heart. May you walk in divine health and healing that was purchased with HIS Blood. May HIS goodness and mercy keep you all the days of your life. May you come to enjoy all the blessings of HIS table now and forever.
In the name of our Beloved Lord Jesus, I bless you and yours releasing HIS joy. Receive HIS strength and grace. Amen.
Merry Christmas
With Love
Mary
