A Cave Has Limits!
Like many of us, I’m sure, I’ve been in through bit of a cave experience recently.
This morning though, The LORD asked a question that jerked me out of it quite quickly.
He first asked me, as He did Elijah, “What are you doing here, Chris?”
I answered, “What am I doing where, LORD?”
“You’re in a cave, you’re brooding — so, what are you doing here?”
I was glad He said ‘brooding’ rather than ‘sulking’! I answered Him, “I’m not sure, LORD. I seem to be in a rather dry place!”
Ignoring my hints at self pity(!!), The LORD continued with this question which pulled me up with a bit of a jolt.
“How can you minister My Love to people from a cave?”
And without waiting for an answer, He continued, “You can’t disciple people from a cave. You can’t heal people from a cave. You can’t even really pray for people from a cave. So why are you there?”
I suddenly had a mini Vision of the dead man being thrown on Elisha’s bones and being resurrected. The LORD then said, “I need you alive, not dead! There’s so much work to be done — much for you to do.”
He then showed me the cave where Elisha’s bones lay. I didn’t see inside, but I saw person after person walking out of that cave. I knew that God had ‘resurrected’ them for such a time as this.
He said, “I can do wonderful things with a cave but, for you, a cave has its limits.
It’s time for you to come out of the cave and to encourage others to do the same.
There are many in caves at the moment. Many of them think it will be their tomb, but I want you to tell them to ‘Arise, in Jesus’ Name, be resurrected, come out of the cave, and speak life to all whom I will show you!’”
He continued again, “Many think their ministry has failed or is failing, but I AM calling them to come back to life, return to your first call, your first love, and let Me show you the Ministry I now have for you!”
In this dark hour, I have many friends to whom I could say this. But The LORD would have me put this out to encourage many rather than just the few.
Don’t give up now! The LORD is about to move in ways we’ve not seen before, not experienced before. It’s time for us all to come out of the cave — it’s such a limited place — into the place of abundance, the place of great blessing, the place of joy in The LORD!
God is calling all of us to His Service today.
The hour of His victory is so close. Don’t stay in your cave because, if you do, you’ll miss everything!
Caves limit you.
God frees you to do things you never expected.
Choose freedom today!

This is a confirmation & an answered prayer as I have been asking the Lord when will HE ever bring me out of the cave that has limited me for years?. Thank you Lord for your Mercy! May God increase your anointing Sir.
Thank you Mr. Bennett for this word. The Lord led me, this morning, in prayer of resurrection concerning the dry bones and dead things in my life. I thank God for confirming what He is doing in our lives, in this season, through you. These dry bones shall live! I am out of my cave today.
I can sure relate to your message. Thank you for posting it.
Wonderful post, and so on the mark! Thank you
