A 50 Dollar Dream!

“Let Me take over — for you’re about to see the outpouring!”

In a dream, I was in a gathering in a Church which I went to, and in the dream I heard The LORD say, “Someone needs 50 dollars!”

It was so clear that I was to relay this message to the Pastor’s wife. When I did, she began to weep and say, “Yes I need 50 dollars.’

She laid her head on my shoulder and began to weep as I prayed in The Spirit over her.

End of dream.

When I woke up from the dream, I knew it was a God-dream, but I hadn’t known what it was about.

At first I thought that this dream was for me to pray for the Church’s finances, so I had been doing that, but this morning all at once as The LORD frequently does, He began to say to me, “You know Jo Ellen, that 50 means Pentecost….?”

To be honest, I had been so busy I hadn’t realized that Sunday May 23rd was Pentecost this year.

He began to show me that this Pastor’s wife was the Worship Leader and that although the worship was excellent as far as musically speaking, but that there had not yet been a real move of The Spirit, because it was so programmed.

The Longing of Our Hearts

In the dream, I felt the longing in the heart of this Pastor’s wife for something beyond her reach. I could not figure out what that was until The LORD spoke to me today, “There is a deep hunger in the hearts of the true people of God to enter into an outpouring of The Spirit like The Book of Acts!”

He said, “They have programmed out My Spirit before this last season of Covid and riots and all that has come along with it. They have taken on the ways of the world, to accomplish what I would have accomplished, had they asked of Me.”

“For My people have committed two evils: they have forsaken Me, the fountain of living waters, and hewn themselves cisterns — broken cisterns that can hold no water.” Jeremiah 2:13.

It’s Time to Do It His Way

You see, when we do things our way instead of The LORD’s we can hold no living water to give to the people who are desperate for a move of God in the time we are living in now!

Then The LORD said, “Tell them that I AM about to come in a move of My Spirit according to their hunger and desperation and according to them turning to Me with all their hearts, humbling themselves and saying, “We have done it our way and it has not worked, but we need Your Presence and Your Power and we are willing to lay it all down and allow You to take over!””

He said, “This season, although it has been hard has exposed many things and many motives and mindsets that have stopped the move of My Spirit, and held back the Glory that is within My People, but I AM showing them that their ways are not My Ways and their thoughts are not My Thoughts!

I have brought many leaders in these days, to see that they can not make it with their programs and all of their so-called knowledge and their degrees but I have been bringing them back to hunger and thirst after a move of My Spirit and to come to Me — The Source of Living water!”

“¹² That is why The LORD says, “Turn to me now, while there is time. Give me all your hearts. Come with fasting, weeping, mourning. ¹³ Let your remorse tear at your hearts and not your garments.” Return to The LORD your God, for he is gracious and merciful. He is not easily angered; he is full of kindness and anxious not to punish you. ¹⁴ Who knows? Perhaps even yet he will decide to leave you alone and give you a blessing instead of his terrible curse. Perhaps he will give you so much that you can offer your grain and wine to The LORD as before!” Joel 2:12-14 (TLB).

My Story

I was in a Church many years ago that was the first Spirit-filled Church I was ever in. I had come from a denomination that didn’t believe in allowing The Spirit to move and had everything programmed.

This Church had a young Pastor who had been delivered instantly from heroin and was on fire for The LORD.

He was one who allowed God to move among the people and to let them operate in their gifts until he had to move on and a new Pastor came.

I was leading worship at the time and we seriously didn’t even have any musicians for a time, but we would sing until The Spirit moved among us.

This new Pastor decided to call us back to the office one day and had The Board with him and said to us. “If The Spirit does not move in 20 minutes, then we have to move on.”

Well it grieved The Holy Spirit so much that truly it was the beginning of the end of Him showing up there in any significant way.

You Will Never Be the Same!

The truth is, if you have ever been in “a move of The Spirit” and tasted His Presence and Power like that, you will never be satisfied with men’s programs and worship again!

You always knew that there is something greater and deeper and more glorious than what you had, and you will spend your life chasing after it! Nothing can satisfy it.

I believe that we have been in years of this and for many they have become so accustomed to men’s ways that they do not know the difference.

But there is a Remnant that still remembers the raw power of The Holy Spirit moving among them and They will not let God go until He comes in all of His Glory!

Let My People Go!

I believe that The LORD is speaking to many people in the body of Christ right now, especially leaders to “let His People go to Worship Him in this wilderness that they have been in!”

I believe that He is saying, “Let them go to Worship until the Power and Glory comes this Pentecost!

This is what people are longing for! This is what they need at this hour! This is all that will save the world right now.

This is what will bring their children off the streets and off of drugs!”

I know for me, I had been on drugs and alcohol until I met Jesus and then was changed when I received the mighty Baptism of the Holy Spirit! I wouldn’t have made it without it!

God is crying out to the Church this Pentecost to let His people go!

He is saying, “Let Me in My Church and let Me do things My Way, because I AM going to move among those who will let Me in such a way, that you will have to get out of the way, if you are in the way!

I AM calling you out Pastors! Let My precious Holy Spirit in and let Him do the work for you and you are about to see the Pentecost you truly have desired!

I do not accept an offering by the sweat of your brow, but they that come to me must worship Me in Spirit and in truth!

Turn loose of the reins of the puppet and let Me Reign even tomorrow and you will see an amazing thing happen!”

“After I have poured out my rains again, I will pour out my Spirit upon all of you! Your sons and daughters will prophesy; your old men will dream dreams, and your young men see visions. And I will pour out My Spirit even on your slaves, men and women alike, and put strange symbols in the earth and sky — blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun will be turned into darkness and the moon to blood before the great and terrible Day of The LORD shall come. Everyone who calls upon the name of The LORD will be saved; even in Jerusalem some will escape, just as The LORD has promised, for he has chosen some to survive.” Joel 2:28-32 (TLB).

“God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
The woman saith unto him, I know that Messias cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things.
Jesus saith unto her, “I that speak unto thee am He.”“ John 4:24-26 emphasis added.
