5 Steps to Receive Your Breakthrough
We are halfway through the year, and we are ready to cross over into a new season!
It’s a time right now to focus away from negative thoughts and talk.
People are wondering right now, “How do I get through? When will I see the changes, you’re prophesying?”
You can get your breakthrough!
But you have to contend for it! This is how you contend — stay in an attitude of worship and praise, bless and don’t curse or complain!
Stop trying to figure it out and trust The LORD is working it out!
Align your mind
“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:1-2 NIV.
This is the time to align your thoughts and mind with Heaven. This will help you get through the storms and the bumpy transition we are in right now.
He is not angry with you, and He longs to relate to you like a father does with his children.
Receiving the Father’s Love
“I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says The LORD Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:18 NIV.
The LORD is calling us to get healed of any wounds in our hearts that are hindering us from receiving His love.
I want to share with you some powerful steps you can take right now to help align your mind with Heaven, receive God’s love and break through anything coming against you!
5 steps to break through
1) Focus on The LORD and not things around you.
“Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.” Colossians 3:2 NIV.
This is the time to align your mind with Heaven. This will help you get through the storms and the bumpy transition we are in right now.
2) Pray and replace anxiety with peace.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 NIV.
You can’t just bind anxiety — you must clean it out and fill the space with something else, like God’s peace. If you’re dealing with this right now, grab a hold of this verse!
3) Decree, pray and sing Bible verses.
“You will also declare a thing, and it will be established for you; so light will shine on your ways.” Job 22:28 NKJV.
Praying the word of God is extremely powerful; The Bible can be used as a legal defense against your attacks.
4) Take communion daily if possible.
Communion connects you with The LORD and brings the power of His blood and body into you. I try to do this at least once a day!
5) Agree with others in prayer.
“Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.” Matthew 18:19 NIV
“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12 NIV
The power of agreement will break the yoke or attack against you.
As you actively start taking these steps, you’ll begin to align with Heaven for your life, receive healing from the Father’s heart, and step into the love and humility He has called us to.
Blessings,
