In the last week, I started hearing these words from The LORD:
“Prepare My Bride!”
“Preparation for The Bride!”
I believe that this is a Word, that The LORD has given me for 2022!
The Bride must not delay any longer, and must ‘clean-up’ her act, as she gets ready for The Bridegroom!
This is the time to prepare spiritually ….. Do not wait any longer!
Why do we need to prepare ourselves for The LORD’s coming?
We find the answer in Revelation 19:7-9,
“Let us be glad and rejoice and give him glory, for the marriage of The Lamb has come, and His Wife has made herself ready. And to Her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the Saints.
Then he said to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are those who are called to The Marriage Supper of The Lamb!’ ” and he said to me, “These are the true sayings of God.”
In this passage we see that it is up to us, The Bride, to get ready….. ‘His Wife has made herself ready!’
Just like a ‘bride-to-be,’ before the wedding, she is very busy getting all the arrangements ready for the appointed day.
In the same way, it is up to us to get ready for the wedding, so we will then be ‘called to The Marriage Supper of The Lamb!’
We can also see from the above verse that we need to be dressed in ‘fine, clean and bright linen,’ which is the righteous acts of the Saints.
What are these “Righteous acts“? We can read all about them in The Word, especially in the New Testament and The Gospels.
It is important to understand that these ‘righteous acts,’ are not to be confused with Salvation!
Salvation is a free gift of Grace, that we received from The LORD Jesus, when we make the good confession of faith in the deity of Jesus. When Jesus died on The Cross, he exchanged ‘our unrighteousness’ for ‘His Righteousness.’
However, once you are saved, you now have the opportunity of serving and living for The LORD Jesus — this is where the white linen garments comes in!
Because of our great love for our Bridegroom, we eagerly want to please him in gratitude for he has done for us!
So, let us now put on these white linens, by serving him in the best way we know possible….. For the time is late, and he comes soon for a pure Bride!
I have put together a list of how to get ready. This is not an exclusive list, so seek The LORD on the things that he would like you to do specifically.
As a confirmation to the above ‘word’ that The LORD gave me, a dear brother had an amazing dream-vision about the final preparation before seeing the king!
