2020: The Year of the Glory! The Glory of the Father!
Here IT IS! The Year 2020!
The much-talked about, much-awaited 2020 has arrived. This is the YEAR The LORD has made, we will rejoice and be glad in it!
And I pray for you, yes, I prophesy to you by The Word of The LORD, that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by The GLORY of The Father, even so you should also walk in newness of life this year!
For if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become NEW!
The old of yesteryear has passed away. May all things become new for you this year swiftly. YOU WILL SMILE! {:-))
Thus says The Holy Spirit (Acts 21:11),
“Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert,” (Isaiah 43:19).
In Genesis 32:1-2, having just, by a covenant, separated from his serially cheating uncle, Leban, Jacob went on his way, and the angels of God met him.
When Jacob saw them, he said, “This is God’s camp.” And he called the name of that place ‘Mahanaim’, which literally means, Double Camp.
And in that very camp, Jacob had the encounter with God which lifted him into nationhood to this very day, giving him the national name Israel (meaning Prince with God) for having struggled with God and men and prevailed.
By The Blood of The Everlasting Covenant, by The Blood of Jesus, let us separate ourselves from Leban, the old man; put off the old man with his deeds.
Let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, The Originator and Perfecter of our faith.
Know the time of your visitation in the day of visitation, (Luke 19:44; 1 Peter 2:12). It is the day of visitation right now, being “the times of restoration of all things,” (Acts 3:21).
Have ‘Jacob moments’ with The LORD. Let your mind and posture and confession be: “I will not let You go unless You bless me.”
(Jesus Himself said: “The law and the prophets were until John. Since that time The Kingdom of God has been preached, and everyone is pressing into it.” Luke 16:16).
Press into The Kingdom of God now. And keep on pressing into It, by The Spirit (studying and obeying The Word, constantly praying, meditating on The Word, Jesus, The Father, The Blood of Jesus, setting your mind on things above, being endlessly hungry and thirsty for righteousness, and so on).
Jacob saw the spiritual and immediately declared the spiritual: “This is God’s camp.” And, indeed, God showed up in the camp.
Whether awake or asleep, be on high alert day and night for the move of God, decree and declare with utterances in situations as given and moved by The Spirit.
Speak things, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. (1 Corinthians 2:13).
Holy Spirit utterances may be from The Word, dreams (Job 33:14-16), in your hearing (Revelation 1:10), etc.
Learn to be alone with The LORD daily, nightly. This was the custom of our LORD Jesus Christ in the days of His flesh.
Like Jacob, go now on your way in newness of life. Go forth now in the newness of The Spirit, the renewing of The Holy Spirit, and be renewed in the spirit of your mind.
Have a PROSPEROUS New Year of Glory!
Hallelu-YAH!
“The LORD Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Grace be with you. Amen.” 2 Timothy 4:22.
“Farewell” Acts 15:29.
~ Jacob Awagah
Jacob, an apostle of Jesus Christ by The Will of God, according to The Promise of Life which is in Christ Jesus, (2 Timothy 1:1). As John was, Jacob is the disciple whom JESUS loves, (John 13:23;19:26; 20:2; 21:7,20). And like Paul, Jacob is “the prisoner of CHRIST JESUS” (Ephesians 3:1) for His Purpose forever: to obey Him always.
“And having been perfected, He became The Author of Eternal Salvation to all who obey Him,” Hebrews 5:9.
Amen.
