2018: All About Family!
2018: All about Family ~ Let HIM Arise in us so the World will come to know HIM through us.
“I will bless those who bless you, And I will curse him who curses you; And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed,” Genesis 12:3, NKJV/
Dear Ones:
Since November, the LORD has had me focused on family: praying for them, helping them physically, and learning more about Him and His ways through this time.
We have a new grandson and I was privileged to be with him for part of November and most of December. The joy and blessing he brings has touched every member of our family.
As I pondered these events in my heart, I realized that the LORD was showing me His heart for the coming months of 2018.
He is all about FAMILY. The LORD came as a baby through the matrix of a human womb carrying the sinless blood of Father God: True God and True man. He chose it to be this way even before the fall of Adam and Eve.
He walked with Adam and Eve in the Garden every day. His relationship with them was as a father is with his children.
He created them so He could share His heart and His life with them. This revelation lit up in my heart as I experienced how our whole family rejoiced and enjoyed our little Benjamin.
Our Father wants this intimacy with each one of us as an infant is with his parents and other kin folk.
My prayer for every man, woman, and child is that this year we will awaken to the truth that in Christ we are children of our Father. In Him, we are brothers and sisters.
Receive His nurturing love with joyful obedience: loving Him and loving the brethren. Learn His ways and do not abuse His kindness.
Seek His wisdom before acting and muzzle your tongue before speaking.
There is a window of opportunity open for anyone who desires greater intimacy with Our LORD and King.
If we give Him true headship over our lives, we will do the works He did and greater works because He will do them through us.
The focus of this year is to: Let HIM Arise in us so the World will come to know HIM through us.
It will only take a small remnant of dedicated and loyal-hearted ones to start a great spiritual explosion.
I give you as an example: look to the small atom that starts an atomic chain-reaction that culminates in an atomic explosion.
The year 2018 is full of great promise and potential. How much are you willing to lay down to receive what the Father is offering to His obedient ones who desire Him above all material things, power, and money?
I heard Him say:
“My child, I call you My child because that is who you are. I have provided a great inheritance for you through the Cross of the Son.
Because He is your LORD, I call you to come up higher and walk with Me in the Garden I have prepared for you.
I cannot release great provision and power to My children who are untrained in My ways.
The infant child needs ‘mother’s’ milk and that is right and good for that stage of development.
However, I have called My children to feast on My Word and grow strong enough to be able to receive meat: the greater revelation of the Kingdom.
This requires a desire to grow up spiritually.
As you grow up, you are able to comprehend more about Me. This comes with greater responsibility.
But I AM the Good Father and I know how to bring up My children.
I call you to My table to partake of the goodies of the Kingdom. You will need them for the days ahead. I love My family and I desire you to love Me in return.
Come to Me as a little child and I will take you to a higher place in the Kingdom than what you have ever experienced.
This is a year to experience the goodness of your Father in every aspect of your lives. I AM excited about what lies ahead.
I want you to be excited, too. Keep your focus on Me. The best is yet to be. All is well. Shalom.”
“Then Jesus called a little child to Him, set him in the midst of them, and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, unless you are converted and become as little children, you will by no means enter the kingdom of heaven. Therefore whoever humbles himself as this little child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven,'” Matthew 18:2-4, NKJV.
