2017: The Year of R.E.S.T.
The year of R…E…S…T
| Restoration | Expansion | Surprises | Triumph |
I was seeking the LORD in prayer and this is what I heard Him say concerning 2017.
A year of Restoration
My people will receive a 7-fold restoration in every area. For some, it will be 3 x 7 restoration.
A year of taking back. Whatever was lost to the enemy will be recovered. Whatever the enemy stole, My people will take back in the order of Joel 2:25 and Luke 11:21-22.
A year of Surprises
I see many surprises in the spirit in people’s households, businesses, nations.
Surprise marriage announcements, surprise invitations, surprise connections. The way the LORD surprised Sarah (Genesis 18:12), Hanna (1 Samuel 1:20) and the Shunammite woman (2 Kings 4:16).
A year of Expansion
The LORD will expand His people all round. Individuals will expand even in the way they think. Ministries and Kingdom businesses will also expand, (Isiah 54:2-3).
A year of Dominion
Many will take dominion over the areas where they have been oppressed in the past. They will take over the territories where the enemy has governed whether in family, corporate, ministry and nationally.
The Church will start taking back dominion over the seven mountains. The Church is getting back its authority especially in governing matters.
A year of Triumphs
“My people will be triumphant in wars they have fought for years, says the LORD.”
Many that have fought foundational battles will get victory.
“There will be a shout of victory in many households for My people shall not be stopped any longer, says the LORD.” Read Deuteronomy 20:4.
A year of divine Vengeance against the enemy. The LORD is avenging His people by judging wickedness openly. Corruption will be judged, sexual immorality will be judged and witchcraft powers too, (Isaiah 61:2, 35:4).
A year when boldness will be rewarded. Those whom the LORD has used in executing risky/ tough assignments will be rewarded/ recognized, especially in exposing and disgracing works of darkness, (Hebrews 10:35).
A year when the small will become big and the big will become small. God will be demoting and promoting. Instrumental positions will be given to those that God has been testing and found credible, (1 Samuel 16).
A year of vindication. Many of those that the enemy had accused, maligned and slandered will be vindicated and their honor restored.
The LORD will give you has seen this things a crown of honor, (Psalm 135:14).
Finally, I heard Him say, “Good news is coming to My people!” The good news will come knocking at their door. As all these things happen for the sake of God’s children.
Much will be happening for those who openly mock Him. Nations will shake and quake whilst powerful personalities will drop.
The LORD will not allow His Name to be despised any longer. He will not allow His children to be despised, mocked and plundered and so He will shake places and people and make an open show of His power.
The LORD says that He has heard the cry of His beloved and He knows how tough it has been. He knows how many have sleepless nights, tear-drenched pillows and how much torment and oppression many have suffered for long and He is sending out His word to assure us that He is coming through for us.He says His word is final and amen.
As He is a righteous judge, He is judging our enemies, He says, “Wickedness will be openly judged as my people see My mercy.”
He gave me Isaiah 62 as the scripture that summarizes His word for 2017.
Let us stay humble, in continuous prayer, take time off to just be with the LORD (consecration) and continue to make peace.
I feel the love of the Father flowing through me like how a drink of cold water feels on a very hot day. I guess He is about to quench our thirst.
Shalom,
